Northrup Falls
This hike is amazing! It's almost like hiking through a tropical jungle or a fairy land (at least in the middle of summer) There are ferns and moss and so much green growing on the rocks and in crevices. This 1.5 mile trail loops around the top of the falls and then down to the bottom where it leads you behind the falls, under the huge stone ledge and back up to where the trail splits. We went counter clockwise and did not have any problems. I would recommend shoes with good traction because you have to climb over some rocks and some parts can be a little slick and muddy - especially if it has just rained.
