Sill Branch Falls
This is my favorite local waterfall! And, it's a pretty easy hike at about 1 mile roundtrip - there is some elevation gain, but it's not steep. The pool at the bottom is shallow so you can walk right up to the falls. This is one you may want to skip in the summer though because without rain, this one dwindles significantly. However, it's pretty cool to see in the winter because if temps get cold enough, the entire falls freeze!
Pine Ridge Falls
When you visit Sill Branch, you should visit Pine Ridge Falls also, as it's just about .25 miles past it. It's not all that impressive, but it's worth seeing, especially since it is just under 1 mile roundtrip. Just know that there is a water crossing and that the trail turns left and goes up a short hill after the creek.
