Brevard, NC

Waterfalls with no hike required!!  Pisgah National Forest, Brevard, NC

These falls can easily be seen all in one trip.  You can also add Moore Cove, Log Hollow Branch, and/or Daniels Ridge Falls for some shorter hikes mixed in.

Looking Glass Falls

Parking on the side of the road, a few stairs down to the viewing platform.  You can walk around in the water and on the rocks here.  Usually quite a few people here because the ease of getting to it.

Sliding Rock

This is exactly what it sounds like - a giant rock that you can slide down.  In the summer, you have to pay to park and sometimes there is a life guard on duty during peak times.  Again, this one gets VERY crowded - try to go during the week or spring/fall.

Slick Rock Falls

You can see this one from the road.  You can also, VERY CAREFULLY walk up and behind the falls - especially if there are nice people there to help you :)
