Brevard, NC

Short, easy hikes in Pisgah Forest, Brevard and Canton, NC

You can easily hike all 3 of these in one trip and include some roadside falls, from the previous post.

Moore Cove Falls

This fall is great because it is an easy hike and only about 1.5 miles round trip AND you can walk behind it!  We've been a couple of times - it's especially magical when the leaves are falling and swirling around the falls.

Log Hollow Falls

Another easy hike and this one is only 1 mile round trip.  As a bonus, about a quarter mile past Log Hollow, there is an unnamed fall (that I actually liked even more than the first).  I read somewhere that someone called it Kissing Falls, but I don't know if that was ever official.

Daniel Ridge Falls

Also known as Tom's Spring Branch Falls.  You can reach this fall in half a mile, going to the right at the fork, or hike the 4 mile loop (which I have not done).
